Inner Westies for refugees

By now I'm sure many of you have seen the extremely distressing pictures of  the Syrian refugee children who drowned while crossing theMediterranean in an attempt to seek asylum.  Our government paints these desperate people in need of our help as a threat to our national security. As citizens, as voters, as people, we need to do more, to be more, to be better than our government. Please donate on behalf of inner West mums so that the legacy of these children can be one of hope and of tangible change. Your donations will be split equally three ways; one third to the Asylum seeker resource centre in Melbourne, providing legal assistance, advocacy, meals and other practical help to Asylum seekers in Melbourne; one third to West Welcome Wagon, providing assistance to families settled in Melbourne's West; and one third to Migrant Offshore Aid Station, providing direct assistance to asylum Seekers at risk crossing the Mediterranean.
