World Scout Jamboree 2023

The World Scout Jamboree is set to take place in the Republic of Korea  from 1 to 12 August 2023.  Scouts from all over the world are invited to attend to realise their dreams, make friendships with people from different cultures, and take part in a safe, inclusive and sustainable programme.

Hundreds of thousands apply to attend the jamboree but only a lucky few are chosen. For those fortunate enough to secure an invite they are required to pay for their travel, accommodation, kit and training expenses. Meet some amazing Scouts who are raising money to get to the World Scout Jamboree 2023

Charlie is taking on to complete a hike of the Yorkshire Three Peaks in just 36 hours to raise funds so he can attend the Jamboree. He has raised more than  £900 so far.

Dave has been selected to lead a unit of the UK Contingent to the 25th World Scout Jamboree. In the time leading up to the big day he will be  volunteering his time to help 36 boys and girls prepare for the adventure of a lifetime.

12-year-old Grace plans to row a massive 1407km to raise money for her journey to Korea.

Challenge yourself – Whether it’s walking, running, cycling, or swimming – challenge yourself to complete an activity while encouraging your supporters to help you meet your fundraising goal. Pro tip: Create urgency by setting a target date to complete both your challenge and fundraising goal.

Social – Once you’ve made your campaign, remember to share the link on your social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Whatsapp, Twitter, TikTok and Snapchat and start bringing in donations.
