Empowering Kenya's Poor to Help Each Other
Donation protected
This campaign is to raise funds to expand the work of Project Kuwesa of Kenya, which was started in 2007. Kuwesa works to empower the rural poor, especially widows raising children, to become self-sufficient. Kuwesa teaches skills, & supplies materials & equipment to alleviate hunger, to create a source of clean water, & to build businesses.
Our goal is to raise $12,000 for these purposes:
To enrich the soil & increase production of vegetables, especially to feed the children.
To purchase materials and pay for training & labor to create more bio-sand filters to produce clean water.
To run power to a new well so it will be operational.
Funds are needed to support the rapidly growing demand for Kuwesa's services to help & empower the poorest of the poor.
All the proceeds of this campaign will go to support Kuwesa. Thanks
