Empowered by Pink Foundation

We have all been touched by cancer in some manner. Just think about it. How many of your family members, friends, co-workers, or even yourself, have been affected by this disease?  It does not discriminate, it affects us ALL.   However, what is the problem?  Is the number of minority women (African-Americans, Hispanics,  Non-caucasian) who are diagnosed at later stages (Stage IV-terminal). By the time the diagnosis is made, it's sometimes too late to make a difference and they don't  get a chance to battle the disease.

I don't know about you, but this is highly upsetting and I've made it a priority to do my part to help in this fight.  I've started a nonprofit organization, Empowered by Pink, to help to raise cancer awareness, prevention, and most importantly, to provide support to  women as they battle this disease.  However, in order for me to do that, I am in need of your assistance to purchase items for care packages for chemo patients, as well as for health education materials. 

Any and all donations are welcomed.  No amount is too small in helping to possibly save a woman's life.  Not just any woman, but a woman that is someone's mother, grandmother, aunt, or daughter.
