Hello family, friends and new friends,

Thank you for taking the time to check out my Go Fund Me project!

For those of you that don't know me, my name is Eli Lambro and I'm 14 years old.  After several volunteering experiences I have come to value helping others.  During the fall of 2017, I have the opportunity to assit in a  six week, free exercise clinic in Siem Reap Cambodia which will encourage healthy training alternatives to staying fit.  My duties for this research project will include: videography and production editing. aid in blood pressure checks and O2 saturation readings, and assist participants in alignment and coordination aspects when exercising and stretching.  I will also be required to prepare sequenced soccer drills for six sessions.   

During the fall of 2012 and 2014, I began to travel abroad with a local Colorado dentist.  Yes, I was ten years old for my first expereince, and 12 years old by the second time.  Months before each trip, I spent time collecting soccer balls, educational supplies, and found an assortment of gifts for an orphanage I love to visit. It's the best, I get to hang out with kids my age playing games, sports, help with their English skills, and I even got a chance to assist in kids dental procedures.  During both visits to Cambodia, after several weeks at a nonprofit called Trailblazers, I also know how to build water filters providing fresh water for rural villagers.

From what I understand about physical health and this upcoming research into the Asian culture, is that non communicable diseases are the #1 killer world wide these include; cancer, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease. As I'm sure you have, I've had close family members die from all three.  This trip gives me a chance to share what I've learned about the value of exercise,  and I am very excited and eager to see this project succeed.  Raising awareness on a global level that exercise is a long term "medicine" is an amazing message to spread to developing nations poverty striken communities.  

During this six week project, you will be able to follow our daily activities through uploaded pictures and video feed via web.
