El Paso Torch Run

We are members of the El Paso Police Department that have volunteered our time to raise money for the Special Olympics. May 21st, we will run, in relay, from El Paso, Texas, to Arlington, TX (just over 600 miles) for the Opening Ceremonies of the Special Olympics. This run takes us just over 4 days, running day and night, through heat and rattlesnakes. We are asking for any financial donation you can make to assist us in travel expenses (ie: food/lodging/etc.), with any leftover funds being donated to the Special Olympics. Throughout the year, we hold various fundraising events for this Special Olympics and this is our grand finale. None of us are great runners, but we see it as a challenge to ourselves and a great opportunity to help bring joy to these great athletes. Thank you for any assistance.
