Our campaign is about proving that there is an alternative to the corporate greed, war and environmental destruction that the EU has driven over the past decades.
But there is no way around it - we need money to get started.
One hundred people donating €20 each will raise our first €2,000.
Another twenty donating €50 each will bring us to €3,000.
Ten people donating €100 each will bring us to €4,000.
If we can raise this quickly, we can get out ahead of Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael - whose campaign machinery will pump money behind them once their candidates are selected.
We plan to run a campaign on a shoestring budget of smart social media, leaflets and posters.
Most of our competitors will spend €100,000+ in the upcoming elections. Our entire budget will be a fifth of that.
