Michelle Kish is a thriving, beautiful, funny teenager who we would like to send on a magical trip to Disneyworld with her choir classmates. She is a member of the South Elgin High School Concert Choir. The group is planning a trip to Disney to attend music workshops and perform in March 2015, as well as visit the theme parks.
Michelle was born with a rare genetic disorder leaving her vision and hearing impaired, lung issues that require a tracheostomy and ventilator to assist her breathing at night, and a g-tube which allows her to get her nourishment through several tube feedings a day.
For Michelle to make this trip she requires 24 hour nursing and her Mom to assist in her medical care. This trip would require 4 adult roundtrip airline tickets, hotel rooms, and financial assistance.
We recently updated our goal amount from when we started our fundraising because we uncovered the really high costs of travel during Spring Break Week. We believe that if we lock in our travel soon, our estimated cost for the trip will be $7,500 for all four people. The family is looking to fundraise in order to make this dream come true for Michelle.
We would be so very thankful if you could donate any small amount to meet the special needs of this very special girl. Michelle has no idea that we are trying to send her to Disneyworld with her friends, so shhhhh…it’s a secret!!
