Edward's Medical Fund

My name is Edward C. I am a full time Uber driver, and on Friday, October 30th, I was unexpectedly assaulted by one of my passengers. He cought me by surprise when I tried kick the already agressive passenger out of my car, and he started beating me over the head in a furry of punches, slaps, and at one point he grabbed my hair and tried to smash my head into the window. I have barely slept since the incident, and am suffering from ongoing headaches I have become paranoid and have been having anxiety attacks daily. I have no medical insurance, and am in desperate need to see a mental health professional, as well as follow ups with a doctor. I am not normaly the kind of person to reach out for help, especially from the public, but I no longer feel safe doing my job as a Rideshare Driver, and I desperatley need funds so that I am able to get both physical and mental care from my incident, as I have no health insurance, and so far 100% of my care is coming out of pocket. I am also trying to move out of California and back to my home in Seattle after the traumatic incident.  I am so thankful for all the support and kind wordsI have received from the media, friends, family, and complete strangers.
