Educators Against Gun Violence

Maine educators have had #Enough! 

We are a group of concerned educators in the Portland, Maine area, and we are staging a symbolic statewide walkout at 3:30pm on March 15th (postponed from March 8 due to snow) to show that we are united in our commitment to end the cycle of senseless gun deaths in our country. After the walkout, we'll rally in front of Portland City Hall at 4:00pm. We are planning additional events in the coming weeks, so please follow our facebook page  for updates.

Your donation will be used to reimburse members of our group who have paid out of pocket for costs associated with the rally and future events including permits, armbands, stickers, and materials for making posters, postcards, etc.  Questions can be directed to the Donation Fund Manager, Alyssa Goodrich, member of Maine Educators United Against Gun Violence.
