Eddie L Patton Fund

Donation protected

My name is Amanda and Eddie L Patton was my daddy. He recently passed away June 15th, 2016 in a motorcycle accident at only 53 years old. My daddy was one of the best men in the world. He had the most wonderful heart of gold and was always willing to give the shirt off his back to someone in need. He was always offering to help someone with something and would give the very last dime he had if someone else needed it. I'm asking for donations to help my mother with the financial burden she now has to deal with since his death. My dad worked 2 full time jobs to make ends meet and my mother has lost all of his income. My dad was the definition of a hard worker. He worked 2-3 jobs his entire life to provide for our family. He would want to make sure my mom was taken care of and I'm making this go fund me account with that in mind.  Daddy was a volunteer firefighter and volunteer police axillary officer in the past and worked security at UnityPoint Proctor and the USDA Agriculture Lab. He spent his career dedicated to providing safety and caring for others. He loved his family more than life itself and enjoyed spending time with all of us and of course riding his Harley.

Anytime I think of my dad, I think about how much he loved us and how all he wanted was us to have a great life. He put everyone else first his entire life and in his honor I'm asking for help to ease some of the burden that has come upon my mom. Anyone who knew my dad, knows how he was always smiling and never complained. He always made others feel like they were apart of the family. It didn't matter if he had just met you or you had known him for years. Dad was an all around great guy that cared about others. Since his passing I've heard so many stories of how he touched others lives and how he never asked for anything in return. Due to the fact that he was in an accident and this is such a shock to my entire family we just don't even know where to start with things. I know my mother would never ask for help like this on her own. Both my parents would say we can figure it out, but I know that my daddy would want us to help anyway we could in taking care of my momma. If you are able any amount is appreciated. Thank you from my entire family.
