Ecuador Community Project 2020

In 2020, I am going to embark on a 4-week trip to Ecuador with Camps International. This will be a once in a lifetime opportunity as on this trip I will be supporting local people by helping to build infrastructure and vital facilities, teaching the local children English and other work that will support their community. In addition, I will also be doing environmental work such as wildlife conservation and reforestation.
The money you spend on donating to this cause would be worth it as my work in Ecuador will greatly benefit the local community and the local wild life, preserving the beautiful country. This trip costs £5190 which cover all flights and accommodation over the 4 weeks I am staying there. I thank my parents who so far have paid the initial deposit of £510, but I am planning to fund raise the remaining £4680.
Fund-raising activities that I plan to partake in include: sponsored runs/cycles/swims, Tough Mudder style events, cleaning cars and boot sales. Companies that sponsor me will have their logo printed on a t-shirt that I will wear for fund raising events and on the actual trip to Ecuador itself and all pictures of me wearing the t-shirt will be posted on social media.
I also believe this trip will better me as a person as it will develop my character and teach me vital skills such as leadership skills and team work skills. Furthermore, I believe this trip will open my eyes to the conditions many people on this earth have to live in and inspire me to do further voluntary work.
