Please help us build a new church

Eben-Ezer Haitian Baptist Church of Westbury  is a religious, tax-exempt organization recognized under section 501(C) 3 serving the growing Haitian population of Westbury, NY. Besides spiritual needs, the organization seeks to improve the social and economical conditions of its members.

Now, the church administration is facing a great challenge. The one room temple is dilapidated.  It also becomes too small because of membership growth. Several people from Haiti, displaced by the earthquake of January 12, 2010, become members of the church. On several occasions, the children and some members are forced to stay outside to accommodate visitors. 

We have been waiting for years to get a permit from the Building Department of North Hempstead to build a new sanctuary for God in our existing property at 859 Prospect Avenue, Westbury, NY. 

Thanks to God, finally we were able to get the approval needed to build the new sanctuary seen in the attached picture. We do not yet have the money needed to accomplish this project. This is the reason why we are seeking for your help to build the House of God.  As we know, things are very difficult, but with a lot of hands everything is possible.  Any amount from your heart will be appreciated and God will bless you more and more.
