Easter Angels- LVCH

Last year, I started a service project to help others in need. My goal was to teach Layton , my son,  the importance of helping others in need. After completing the project, I realized how much more this project had taught me. It was truly wonderful to see how all the donations we gathered helped the children of the hospital. Due to the awesome response last year, I have decided to do the project again ! 

I have decided to  again donate Easter baskets to the children of the Lehigh Valley Children's hospital. This is  45 bed children's unit for all ages including birth to 18 for all diagnoses including bone disorders, brain andnerve injuries, newborn issues and childhood cancer.

My goal is to hand deliver 50 Easter baskets to the children on Friday April, 14th !

I am hoping to get some donations to help me with this project ! Donations can be either monetary or they can be supplies for the baskets ! New toys, baby items, craft supplies are all welcomed ! The only request from the hospital is no candy, as many of the children have allergies or dietary restrictions. The children's hospital also welcomes gift cards to places like target, toys r us, Amazon, or Barnes and Noble. I have a list of items that are popular for different age groups and can give suggestions from that if you are interested !

I will be accepting donations through April, 10th !

I am so excited to see the children's faces when we give them all a special gift this Easter !

Last year we were able to provide 50 Easter baskets and over $2,000 in extra supplies including games, movies, crafts supplies and toys. 

I will also be looking into donating extra toys and supplies to a local women's shelter depending on the amount of donations we receive this year.
