Eagle Project: First Colony Bat Box

I'm Luke Miller from Boy Scout Troop 300 in Williamsburg  and I am raising money to fund my Eagle Scout service project. This project would consist of constructing and installing a bat box (artificial bat roost) In First Colony. Due to habitat development and invasive fungi, bat populations are becoming increasingly threatened. This box would not only help the local ecosystem and environment by providing a safe habitat, but would also benefit the local community.  This box could would sustain more bats control insect populations as well as provide a place for existing bat populations to live other than your attic.
