Help me get to Greece!!

Hi Everyone!!
My name is Alexa and I am a junior, studying Integrated Neuroscience and Theatre at Binghamton University.
Ever since I can remember, it has been my dream to explore the world; Having been raised in an Iranian immigrant family, culture is a constant and significant part of my life. In term, other cultures and traditions throughout the globe have extremely intrigued me. To me, studying abroad in Greece is my chance to finally indulge and feed my hunger for travel, to satisfy my desire to explore and discover, and finally conquer the world in my own way.
Unfortunately, my family has been deeply struggling financially for some time now, and so my dreams of travel have simply not been possible. While going abroad through an academic program does give me access to financial aid, this aid only covers about half of the costs, leaving a significant amount that is not accounted for. I am still in need of funds to be used for expenses such as program costs, flight tickets, a passport, a student visa, housing, meals, transportation, books, supplies, etc.
I have already began preparing for my departure, which will be mid-January 2016, including obtaining all the right documentation and flight information, etc. and this all needs to be completed as soon as possible. Any and every donation goes directly to helping me acheive my life-long goal and is extremely appreciated! If anyone is interested, I am also planning on posting all my adventures on a blog and will be sure to keep you updated frequently. If there are anymore questions, feel free to contact me!
