Elderly living in condemned home

The Love Rev. Ministry Project.                               " Love Thy Neighbor "
We need your help please! We are a Harris Co. Community volunteer group trying desperately to raise money for an elderly Harris County Ga. Resident. She is living in conditions worse than that of a third world country, and she is right in our own community. Many are willing to volunteer time and skills to provide for her needs. We are trying to meet our April 1st deadline. We need 22,000.00 to meet our goal. Please read on for more details on the heart of Love Thy Neighbor Project. No amount is to small!

" About Our Neighbor "
She is elderly and disabled but a grateful Soul. She recently lost her eye sight due to glaucoma. She has battled lung disease since age 3 while enduring peripheral vascular disease. This disease limits blood flow to her legs. This condition causes difficulty in walking, painful swelling and ulcers.Even with all of this and her house falling down around her, she remains gracious and joyful. 
"About Her Need"
Our sweet neighbor lives in a condemned home given to her by her grandmother. This home was built in 1950. A couple of years ago during a storm a tree fell on the roof causing structural damage. This damage caused a large leak in the ceiling. Over the years rainwater has caused major structural damage . The cabinets are falling in, and the floor is very weak. The windows are very old and unable to support an air conditioner, so our sweet neighbor lives in this home with no air conditioning and only a small heater during the winter. She also lives without a functional bathroom due to a fire.
"OUR MISSION"
The Love Thy Neighbor Project strives to recognize and provide for the needs of our neighbor.This project's goal is to reach out and express our love of community and gratitude for the blessed lives we live. Words alone could never express how grateful we are for the cross on Calvary. The Love Thy Neighbor Project seeks to show our gratitude through walking in obedience by : * answering the call of our elderly neighbor's need. * providing a secure handicap accessible home. * supporting and working together as a community motivated purely on the love for the one. Together, we hope that these actions will minister, sow, and light his lamp stand for the community. (Luke 8) The Love Thy Neighbor Project is still 22,000.00 short of our goal .
