Serenity's Mission
Donation protected
The Serenity Women's Center & Rescue Mission have embarked on an umprecedented, synergistic partnership that honors & supports homeless women veterans wanting to re-charge, refocus, and get the services they need to be healthy, whole , and productive.
The intent of this venture is to provide transitional & supportive programs for homeless women veterans while safely transitioning them back into the community.
This collaborative effort will be acheived through a partnership of the Rescue Mission (RM) whose comprehensive plan for individual safety, emotional support, skills building, and employment training "Willing to Work" program, while Serenity Women's Center ( SWC) will lead the construction of the three structures, that will entail producing a "turn key" home.
We contend that this can and WILL become a model project for other communities !!
