Marlyn

Ahhh. Another trip around the sun. Unfortunately, my cousin Marlyn won’t be with me on my 27th lap.I am not sure I can ever muster up the word to express how I feel, but I’ll try. Marlyn---you were the closest thing to a sister I have ever had. You made New York my home. You made anyone around you feel loved, special, and welcomed. You were always in my corner.. I’m going to miss you so much. I promise I wont square any more people on the subway. I promise I won’t love CA more than New York. I promise to make sure Christopher eats his food and Sophia get everything she wants. I promise I’ll do the best I can to help those two nuggets know that their mom loves them very much while you rest. Until next time XX.

With that said I hope you find it in your heart to make a donation. Unfortunately death cost too much in many ways, and for my birthday I would like to help. Consider it as if you bought me a drink, or an uber, whatever. I don’t need a card and I don’t care about brunch.

But! If you don’t care about my birthday, think of this. Sunday is Mother’s day.  Marlyn had two of the most precious kids that occupy good portion of my heart.  Christopher and Sophia lost their mom too young. Please support them as if you were supporting your own mom this Sunday.
