Duncan's Memorial Bench

UPDATE: Duncan's bench has been assembled and is safely inside the halls of Wayne High School. Below is a message from his family:
The McCullough family would like to extend our greatest appreciation to those who helped make
Duncan’s Bench happen. We have felt such a blanket of love and support around us as we grieve.
Every day I look out to see this beautiful reminder of what an exceptional young man he was and how
others thought so too.
Again, thank you friends, family, and community for your awesome gift.
The McCullough Family
Our sweet friend, neighbor, and fellow Wayne alumnus Duncan McCullough left us unexpectedly on the morning of March 19th. While growing up in Huber Heights, being heavily involved in band and drama club in High School, serving faithfully in his local church, and working at both Wayne High School and Meijer, there are very few lives in this community that Duncan did not touch. His kindness and acceptance of every type of person is just part of what made him so special.
Because of his far-reaching impact, several families are hoping to raise enough funds to have a Memorial bench installed at Wayne High School in Duncan's honor. The bench would be installed outside of the band room, and it would be a place for friends, fellow alumni, community members, and his family to come and remember Duncan. (Additionally, his mother works at the High School, so it would be a special place she can go frequently and reflect).
The wording on the bench is yet to be determined, but this picture gives you an idea of what we are hoping to accomplish. The $1200 will go towards purchasing the bench and installation. Any remaining funds will be donated to the McCullough family to use or donate as they see fit.
