Help Jefferson go to World Surfing Championships

Jefferson Lopez has been invited to represent his country as one of the best surfers in Nicaragua. We are doing everything in our power to help him get to the upcoming ISA World Junior Surfing Championship in Huntington Beach, California. Jefferson just turned 13 years old and was born and raised in Popoyo, Nicaragua where his family runs a small surf campground for international surfers visiting the area. Jefferson is very humble, talented and well liked by all the other surfers. He has never had the opportunity to travel outside of Nicaragua and deserves this opportunity to compete on a world stage.

The funds raised through this campaign will help Jefferson with the travel expenses, surfboard and contest fees that are associated with this event. This competition is recognized by the International Olympic Committee and could catapult Jefferson's surfing career. This could be a life changer for Jefferson in a country with minimal options of opportunity. Thank you for contributing to Jefferson's dream!

UPDATE: Unfortunately, due to the laborious process of obtaining Jefferson’s passport and visa, he was unable to attend the ISA World Junior Surfing Championship in Huntington Beach. We have since hired a lawyer and have now successfully obtained Jefferson’s passport and exit visa. Jefferson will now be attending the ISA Games in El Salvador. The remaining funds will be used for his entry and travel to this upcoming event.
