Down Syndrome Conference Sydney 2019

Our dear friend Jayne is a passionate mother and teacher who gives much of herself to others in our community,  particularly in her role in support for refugees and newly arrived families. Jayne has been part of many fundraisers and is always among the first to put her hand up to help anyone who is in need, but never asks for anything in return.

Jayne is a single mum whose children's ages range from 20 to 4 years, with her youngest child, Eli, having Down's Syndrome. The blessing Eli brings has given Jayne opportunities to be part of many support groups. Jayne dedicates a huge amount of time encouraging, listening to and assisting the families of children with Down's Syndrome. One of these groups is the T21 Mum Australia Network. T21 is holding its inaugural conference in Sydney, October 2019.

As a supporter of this network it is important for Jayne to attend. However she needs our help in getting there. The money we raise will go towards flights, accomodation and conference fees for Jayne to attend. The knowledge and experience that she will gain will help her to continue to support, not only her family, but the many other families she has made a difference to.
