Dougs medical bills and lost wages

Doug has been hospitalized as of 9/27/16 with a staph infection of the blood which settled in his spine and came very close to his spinal cord {had that been crushed from the infection he would be paralyzed} along with bone spurs in his spine and severe arthritis . He went through surgery on 9/29/16 where they cleansed his spine of the staph bacteria and is in recovery in ICU for an unspecified amount of time. After recovery at the hospital he is expected to have 6-8 weeks at home resting and continuous IV antibiotic drip during this time. While he has a number of sick days at work, my mom (Colleen) has been taking time off to bring him to appointments and stay with him at the hospital while missing work with no pay. We will keep everyone posted on his well being and any donation is appreciated.
