Dons stolen motocross
Donation protected
Don Bush is a man dedicated to his family. He loves his wife and has custody of his two grandchildren, on the autism spectrum. Don has been part of the motocross community for almost 20 years and is always willing to give a helping hand. No one has a bad word to say about him.
On the night of 21 December 2018, some people stole his two motocross bikes;: his pride and joy, a 2017 Honda CRF450F and a 2007 CRF150R big wheel that his grandchildren loved riding. Such small joys in life – but such an impact on this family. It gave Don such a great joy to share this sport with his grandkids.
Even before the bikes were stolen, Don has had quite a few blows to his life including a chronic illness and a blown motor in his truck. We were chatting the other day and I asked Don what he could have done in life to deserve such karma in his older age. He laughed and said he thought he had lived a pretty decent life, but bad things happen to everyone. The poor guy just cannot catch a break!
Don has been a wonderful friend to many and always ready to help out in any way that he can and now he needs our help. We, as a community, cannot let the bad guys win. In this season of giving, we need to come together as one and right this wrong.
We are trying to raise enough money to replace both of his stolen bikes and gear. If we can raise enough, we would also like to get a new motor for his truck – we are willing to do the swap on the motor for free. This is a chance to help someone who is a hard working, kind and faithful friend. We have all been there and needed a helping hand. Please consider giving any amount to help our kind, faithful, hard working friend get through this rough patch and show that good things do happen to good people.
