Donovan Sayler's Kidney Transplant!

Donation protected
Donovan Sayler, Or "Dono" as many of you know him, is the most amazing, talented, hard-working, selfless man I know. He's the guy who will spend ALL day on his only day off, helping you with whatever you might need help with... and he'll do it with a big smile on his face the whole time. He has gone through some rough times in his life, and struggled to get to where he is today. He started from the bottom and has worked his way up in his career, knowing nothing except that he wanted to succeed in life and be the BEST he can be at whatever he did... and hes done just that... right up until about this time last year. That was when Donovan was diagnosed with IgA Nephropathy, Also known as "bergers disease". For someone who led an active, hard working life, being handed a card like that is likely to stop you right in your tracks and leave you feeling hopeless, but not Donovan. He's been fighting this disease every day since he got the news. Its altered his life in many ways, and yet that hasnt stopped him from trying to live it to the fullest. When Donovan was diagnosed, his disease had already taken its toll on his kidneys, leaving them working at only 5% functionality. In turn, Donovan needed to be put on Dialysis until he could find a kidney donor and complete a transplant. It seemed fitting that as selfless and giving as Donovan is, his blood type happened to follow suit. He's O positive , which is the universal blood type to be able to give to ANYONE, unfortunately, people with blood type O can only receive that same blood type. After a little over a year of being on Dialysis, and the organ transplant list, Donovan's Cousin agreed to be tested, and ended up being a perfect match! With the hardest part (finding a donor) behind him, all he has to do now is get through the operation and get back to living his life, as fully as he was before all of this happened. Sounds easy, right? ... We wish. Now that the progress of getting his transplant is on its way, hes starting to see how much of a financial burden this is going to be, (and continue to be) on him. Without being able to work full time while on Dialysis, hes already struggling to keep up with his financial obligations as it is. The cost of a transplant, and all the little bills that come with it. That is where this Gofundme Account comes in. Donovan is going to need funding for his month long stay in seattle, once the operation is done. Including food, medications and 24/7 paid in home care for the first two weeks ( at least ) All of that, on top of his reoccuring monthly bills that he'll need to keep up with such as his mortgage, car payments, insurance, groceries, phone bills, etc.  In addition to this GoFundMe account, we will also be having a fundraiser at PreFunk Bar in Boise on October 17th. Please join us for a night of silent auctions, games, and mingling to help get Donovan back to being healthy!
