Dolehide Family Fund

On March 7, 2018, Bill Dolehide was on his way home from work to see his family and attend a meeting of the Crestwood Soccer Club.  While Bill was driving West on 135th Street in Robbins, Illinois, he was senselessly and fatally shot in the head by an unknown person or persons for no apparent reason.  Some reports say that he drove between rival gang members who were shooting at each other.   No information is available at this time.  Another driver was shot as well, but survived.

Bill is survived by his wife, Terri and his three children, Shannon, Logan and Morgan.  Bill was scheduled to attend the Crestwood Soccer Club Board Meeting at 6:30PM.  He called one of the Board Members to let him know that he would be at the meeting early as he was almost home.  That was approximately 5:45PM.  Bill never made it home or the meeting.  

Bill was the Vice President of the Crestwood Soccer Club and served on the Board for over 16 years.  Bill was loved by all of the Members of the Board and the Coaches in the Club.  Bill always found time to help new coaches and the other members of the Board.  Anytime you asked Bill for help he would always be there for you.

Bill was very active in his community.  He was also a referee for Water Polo.  He served as a Eucharistic Minister and volunteered for many other services and activities at Incarnation Parish in Palos Heights.  Everyone who knew Bill has fond memories of his contagious smile, his courtesy, and how he always offered to help his neighbors or friends.

Bill will be sorely missed by his family, his Soccer Family, his Water Polo Referee family and many, many friends.  Please help to defray the cost of education for his children and other expenses of the family.
