Documentary About Caring for Vulnerable People

Our aim:
Julie Stoddern is a woman who cares for vulnerable people; feeding them, comforting them and giving them a place to stay. She works incredibly hard to be able to support them. 

I am a filmmaker wanting to make a documentary about Julie and the terrific work she has done in the community. Together with a sound recordist I am planning on travelling to Cornwall on the 26th of June. After making this film we want to submit it into multiple film festivals. This will raise awareness of what Julie is doing.

What we will use funds for:
Please see the bar chart listing all the things we need funding for. Travel expenses, accommodation, food and film festival submissions are all required to make this film. We will also donate some money directly to Julie's cause.

When we need the funds:
We would like to raise the required amount as soon as possible. This would mean Julie can get the support she needs immediately. 

What you will get in return:
We will provide the link for the finished documentary. In addition, we will list you in the credits as a donator. Most importantly, you will have played your part in raising awareness of Julie’s plight. If the documentary does well she might make appearances on the news or in newspapers. When we publicise the documentary online people will be able to easily donate to Julie.

Any donation, no matter how small will make a difference. The local council has restricted the amount of people Julie can have staying in her house at a time. This means the vulnerable people she supports are relying on her more than ever. Thanks for your help!
