Disabled Wintersports Australia

Hello everyone, my name is Charlotte and I am a professional ski instructor, I am also a volunteer for Disabled winter sports Australia.

DWA is an organisation that gives thousands of people with disabilities the chance to be apart of snow sports. 

DWA is not only just an organisation its become a family for so many people. We have volunteers who give countless hours of their time to making peoples dreams come true.

We have developed sporting pathways at the social, active recreational and elite level. They currently include:

• Winter Paralympic Preparation Pathway
• Special Olympic Australian Athlete Development Pathway
• Australian Military Athlete Development Pathway
• Australian Professional Instructors Pathway
• Volunteer Adaptive Snow Sport Guide Development Pathway

I am wanting raise money for more equipment! At the moment the equipment we use is very expensive.Check out the prices below for a rough idea on how much everything costs.

• Bi-ski and outriggers (approx. $8780 each)
• High trunk support sit-ski seat(approx. $1765)
• Quick release drag lift straps for sit-skis (approx. $180 each)
• Bluetooth headset for VI skiers (approx. $300)
• Stand up outriggers(approx. $1040)
• Mono-skis (approx. $9100 each)
