Disabled Paradise fire survivor needs a miracle

Donation protected
This is my dear friend, Janette. She and her father are both handicapped and lived together in Paradise. They barely made it out of their home with their beloved pets and the clothes on their backs, but they were lucky—and are grateful to be alive.

Now that they have overcome the initial shock of this tragedy, it is time to adjust to life after disaster. Dad is going to be moving to Idaho with Janette’s brother (whose family, sadly, also lost everything in the fire). This leaves Janette on her own in California without a permanent home.

Janette is unable to work due to her disability and physical limitations, so at this point she really needs a place to live.  We are collecting donations so she can purchase a used 5th wheel trailer and truck as a baseline. If someone has either a truck or trailer they might be able to donate, then any funds raised would be used to get her set up as self-sufficient and accessible as possible.

As we head into the holidays, this is one way that each of us can make an impactful and lasting difference in the life of a real person in our extended community. Please help Janette, if you can. And spread the word. Every single donation really does make a difference. Together, we can make miracles happen! ✨
