Diné media crew travel to #NODAPL

Donation protected
Yá'át'ééh,

Paper Rocket Productions is going on the road to Cannonball, ND in efforts to assist Indigenous media makers at Sacred Stone Camp. Last week, there was a call out to all Indigenous Media Makers to travel to Cannonball, ND where countless human rights violations continue to affect water protectors.

We understand our utmost responsibility in documenting real-time events. Currently, corporate/mainstream media coverage are poorly covering #NODAPL. It is vital to be on the ground to convey a reliable account of what is essential for the fight to protect clean water from extractive industries.

Last year, we purchased a 1995 Dodge Ram Van, with 80,000 miles. With our new/used van our crew traveled to 4 communities on the Navajo Reservation: Kayenta, Shonto, Shiprock, Huerfano and created 15 youth films (all available to view on youtube). Unfortunately, we have not used the van since then and is in need of a tune-up, battery, and vehicle insurance. We will be making the journey with this van.

Your donations today will also go toward food, travel and equipment  expenses.
