Diana's Housing Fund

Donation protected
Diana has spent most of her life in a wheelchair because she has cerebral palsy.  Unfortunately, after a two-month stay in the hospital starting just before Thanksgiving she was evicted from her apartment. She is currently living in a hotel while waiting for a low-income, handicapped accessible apartment to become available in the southern Maine area. The hardest part of this unexpected turn of events for Diana has been that she was forced to surrender her beloved kitties to a shelter. The nice folks at the shelter found a temporary foster home for these older kitties that have only ever lived with Diana.

Diana is on a waiting list for an apartment, but she has been told that one will likely not be available for another four to six months. Her monthly social security check, her only source of income, will barely cover half of the hotel expenses.

Diana has supported herself her entire adult live; she just needs a little help to get through these next months. Please consider donating any amount to help Diana secure a safe living situation, and one that will allow her to be reunited with her precious cats. More than anything Diana wants to live in an apartment of her own so that she can be reunited with her beloved kitties, Jax and Baby Girl (aka Cookie). They are her only family, they are her support, they are her passion.

Thank you so much for reading about Diana and your contribution of any amount.
