Destination Imagination!

This team - the Animal Justice League - has worked phenomenally hard for the past six months. In addition to writing a skit and creating the set from scratch, they took on the additional challenge of raising funds for a community need - the Old Town Animal Orphanage. In total, they raised approximately $630 dollars with their hard work. They made phone calls, they baked, they sold. They collected bottles and placed cans in businesses. They made mistakes and learned from them. They reflected on their progress and adjusted course. They collaborated with one other to be as successful as they could be! 

This team has worked together for three years (some for four!), and each year, they knock our socks off. But this year bests them all! Not only did they support a community need, but they also brought home their highest scores ever and a first place trophy!

Their next challenge is looming. A first place win means an invitation to the Global Competition in Knoxville, TN. They have a little over four weeks to raise $10,000! This money will be used for lodging, food, travel, and associated convention fees for each group member and an accompanying adult.
