Lee Family Lost EVERYTHING in Fire!

They lost everything, except, for each other. If it had happened any earlier that morning, this may have been a different Gofundme campaign! They are now in search for a new home, clothes, and many other necessities...please try to help as soon as you can.

On Tuesday, October 18th, around 8:15 AM, my mother, Flossie Lee, lost her home to a devastating house fire. She has lived on Lee Road in Quincy for over 42 years, and only escaped with the clothes on her back. Also living in the home were my brother, Aaron Lee, and his son, Nathan Lee.
When she first saw flames coming from her bedroom, she began screaming for Nathan who was still sleeping! Her attempts worked, and thankfully, he heard her screams. Just three days prior to the fire, she had knee replacement surgery, and was in need of assistance in getting out of the house that quickly became engulfed in flames.
I feel distressed as I have been unable to be with my mom during this absolutely stressful time, seeing the picture on Plumas News for the first time was heartbreaking, as this was also the house I also grew up in.
My mother Flossie, my brother Aaron Lee, and my Nephew Nathan Lee have received some clothes donations, and a gift card from Red Cross, however this is not nearly enough to replace 100% of the household items which were all destroyed in the fire….pillows, blankets, beds, refrigerator, stove, microwave, washer and dryer, linens, toaster, silverware, dressers, couch, it all needs to be replaced. And more importantly, a place to live. There are only two rentals in Quincy which are not adequate for their needs, so I am making this plea to raise enough money to put a loan down on a new house.
My mom is so deserving, she has put her family before herself for so many years! I want her to feel the support, and let her know how many people love her!
