During moments of crisis, we look toward leaders in our communities who we can trust to keep us safe, and ensure that everyone has what they need. Our friend and South Portland City Councilor Deqa Dhalac is this type of leader, and she is running once again to continue her amazing work as a City Councilor.
Deqa is running in the November 3rd election in South Portland, and will continue to tirelessly advocate on issues like racial equity as a priority of our city government, affordable housing development, and an ongoing and inclusive community response to the pandemic.
While she does not currently have an opponent on Nov 3rd, we know the importance of educating the public when and for whom they can vote.
