Forrest Stearns Defendants Fund

In August of 2017 a group of local women reported Forrest Stearns for animal abuse. A video of this "alleged" abuse was captured and hastily posted online. The video went viral, and subsequently the County of Teton began an investigation into Stearns and the allegations against him. Due to outdated legislation in the state of Wyoming he was acquitted on animal cruelty charges. Stearns and his lawyer have decided to file a defamation suit against a handful of women who were responsible for making his actions public. He claims that the actions of the defendants directly contributed to loss of business and licenses. Stearns and his attorney seek damages in excess of one million dollars. This is a fund to help the good women, who are all pillars of the Jackson Hole and surrounding area's community, defend themselves against a man who's reputation had been long tarnished prior to the events of August 2017. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
