Our sister, Debra White was involved in a terrible car accident on Wednesday, 9/9/15 on her way home from work.  After veering off the road, the car caught fire igniting the brush around her. The crash could have ended much worse but thanks to 4 amazing men, she is alive today!

All my sister remembers was thinking she was headed home to relax with her dog, Sara and to her new house and to the new town she moved into, North Providence.

Her injuries were third degree burns to her back and face, fractures on both ankles and right arm. She was finally released from the hospital on 10/2/15 and will spend an undetermined amount of time in rehab. After rehab, she will need 24 hour care when she gets home.

About Our Sister:

She is one generous, positive, and caring person. She believes in god and prays day and night. In fact, right before this happened, we were talking about going to see Joel Osteen in NY for a book signing. Not only does she
believe in tithe, but she practices it. She donates a generous amount of her small salary every month to animal rescues and various other charities.

Our sister has not had an easy life. She has lost one child at childbirth and one child passed with celebral palsy before he turned 20. It always amazes me how she continues to stay positive even after experiencing  such a loss in her life and now this set back. Most of us are lucky enough to see our children experience all the stages their life has to offer; my sister missed the little things we take for granted.

Debra moved recently and hasn't had enough time yet to get settled into her new home. She left behind boxes still unpacked and re
novations and decorating still to be done when she returns.

This fund will help with the following:
1) Replace her cell phone which was destroyed in the fire and allow her to communicate with her dog of 12 years who she misses so much. Of course, we will have to teach her how to face time and text but she's open to it!
2). Surprise her with an Ipad to keep her occupied while in rehab.
3). Pay for her dog's care while at Holliston Meadows Pet Resort.
4). Make modifications to her residence to help assist her when she likely will have to return with a wheelchair or walker.

Our sister is thankful for the good samaritans that saved her life. We know of 3 of them, Glen Chelo and his brother (I'm guessing Craig Chelo) and also Scott Cox. We would be interested to learn who the 4th person is. She would really like to personally thank them all one day.

If anyone deserves some help right now, it's our sister who prays for everyone always. I know if she knew you and you needed the prayers and donations, she would be the first to help.

Peace and Love,
Her Sisters Dawn and Donna
