Deakin's Diabetes Pump

About 3 yrs ago my son got very sick and it wasn't until a urgent hospital trip that we became aware of how sick he actually was. A nurse told me my 5yr old (almost 6yr old) had keto-acidosis. I didn't have a clue what she was talking about next thing i knew we was rushed off to another hospital where on the way i almost lost my little boy 3 times. He was admitted to icu for over 2 hours. We have had countless hospital trips since diagnosis due to diabetes, and sickness related. He is not only battling this disease he also has a incontinence issue also Deakins recommended treatment for his diabetes is to have an insulin pump for better control. At the moment we are doing multiple daily injections day and night. Some nights i am up at 2am checking him to make sure he is ok after having a bad day. I know $10,000 is alot of money which i can not afford by myself being a single mum of 4 children. I am only asking for help as we missed the deadline (which we was unaware of) for funding through jdrf, and now deakin isn't on the priority list for a funded one. I will be also doing as much as i can to help donate towards my sons fund by holding cake stalls with the help of deakin. If i can manage to raise the funds with the help of others it will be greatly appreciated and help deakin alot with being more acceptable of his condition and to have less needles everyday. It will also help him self manage abit more and let him feel more like other children. We have also signed up for a cgm so he will be rid of most finger pricks as his fingers look like pin cushions. I am not a fan of asking people for help but in this time of need i have no choice.  i will go to any lengths to help my children as best i can. Thankyou for taking time to read our story.
