Sophia Little League Field Repair

Sophia Little League was vandalized during the fall/winter.  Two picnic tables, one set of bleachers, and all electrical wiring to the field lights/batting cage/equipment building was been stolen.  Due to the decline of the coal industry and the local enconomy, donations and fund raising efforts have also declined.  This is the third year we have suffered vandalism, but this time is at a crippling level.  The league currently does not have sufficient funds to cover the damage.  We are reaching out to family and friends for donations.  Even if it is just $5, every little bit counts!  We are at jeopardy of losing the 2016 season if we cannot make the repairs needed to the facility.  The league is under new leadership and this repair is just one step in many more improvements that we hope to make.  We are going to work hard restore this facility for the local community because our children deserve to have a great place to play ball and make life long memories.
