David Hadley Medical Expenses

Many of our friends that have been in the horse industry for more than 20 years know David Hadley, a lifetime horseman who once trained horses in Ohio for the famous Sugar Run Farm, owned by Mrs. Junk, and home of memorable show horses like Sugar Run Tabitha, Sugar Run Reward and Sugar Run Gay Don. David also spent many years on the west coast managing and training horses for Gwen Tubach at her Couser Creek Ranch, breeder of the notable World Champion CCR's Outrajus Corajus, as well as the good sire CCR's Academy Award. He was also instrumental in the early 2000s as the manager and trainer at Patricia Ryan's Ryan Ranch in Texas for almost a decade.

Father to Texas trainer Brian Hadley, and uncle to both John and Kurt Hufferd, "Uncle Dave" has been a constant in our Morgan family for the better part of a century.

David and his wife Sandy have been living in retirement in Roanoke, Indiana at Triumph Stables for several years, with David working when his health permitted, but most recently struggling with severe health problems. Tonight he was admitted to the hospital and is hanging on for his life.

No one becomes a professional horse trainer to get rich, or to bankroll a healthy retirement plan—the Hadleys have been in this industry all their lives because they love horses, and most especially they love the Morgan horse. We've set up this GoFundMe account in hopes that Uncle Dave is remembered by enough friends in our breed that they might all contribute a few dollars to help cover his mounting medical expenses.
