Dancing With Our Heroes

Dancing With Our Heroes was born out of the idea that dance can be an effective form of healing, physical therapy and confidence building. In 2012 Fred Astaire Dance Studios and FMI’s Operation Outreach worked to bring together professional dance instructors with Wounded Warriors at the San Antonio Center for the Intrepid. The results were amazing and Dancing With Our Heroes was born. 


Since 2012 Dancing With Our Heroes events have been held in cities across the nation. On May 24th San Antonio will host its first Dancing With Our Heroes Gala. FMI’s Operation Outreach has a mission to make this Dancing With Our Heroes Gala the biggest and the best yet. We are an organization of veterans with a passion for helping veterans. 


Events like this require a lot of work. They also require financial resources to make them happen.
