Dan's campaign for TRAVELTEER IMPACT

Hi, I'm Dan, I’m 21 years old and am raising money in aid of Travelteer Impact.

This summer I’m excited to have been given the opportunity to volunteer in both Sri Lanka and Nepal over 8 weeks. In Sri Lanka I will  be working on marine and wildlife conservation in a local turtle hatchery to rehabilitate and release sea turtles back into their natural habitat.  

I’ll also be doing agricultural and jungle re-plantation projects, aswell as beach and river clean ups, removing plastic and other hazardous waste to protect the marine life and restore the area.
 
In Nepal I’ll be working along side locals in elephant sanctuarys, dog shelters, jungle replantation, river cleans and much more.

 I’ve chosen Travelteer Impact because they empower under developed communities and their environments. All the funds are raised by volunteers like myself  who join the volunteering programmes. By donating to a volunteers page you will be directly contributing to our efforts and helping us achieve our goals.

100% of donations made will go directly towards the projects I am involved in. The projects we work with are often under-developed and there is much need for even basic facilities.

Update: Since the horrendous Easter bombings and much uncertainty about our projects, most of us have decided we are still going to be volunteering in Sri Lanka, only now some of this money is going to go towards helping those effected by this hideous act.
