On the 10th June, I will be travelling to Tena area of Ecuador as part of the VESA program. During our stay in the area, we will be helping local villagers improve their quality of life by building eco-friendly amenities, assisting with an ongoing education program and refurbishing old and shabby school rooms.
The money that you donate will be used for:
Program Costs - a breakdown of which can be found here.
Renewing my passport so that I can travel.
Paying for the flight to Ecuador.
ESTA (the group flight is travelling via the USA, so this is required so that I can enter the US to get on the second plane).
Travel insurance.
Any paid for vaccinations.
Any gear or equipment that I need to buy for the trip.
Possibly some gifts for the locals if there is enough money left over.
The program itself needs to be paid for by the 26th April, but other costs may need to be paid after that
