If you don't know us already, we are a family who have been blessed with 4 very special children. They have a range of conditions which make their lives challenging. See our Facebook page A touch of the Perks.
For now we will focus on fundraising to get Connie a special needs trike. They are specially made and aren't cheap, they are around £1500.
Connie is super amazing, she is registered as Blind, she has Autism Spectrum Disorder, Noonan Syndrome, Albinism, Joint hyper mobility and a few more difficulties due to the conditions she has. An ordinary push bike is too hard for her to cycle, and she still falls off even with stabilisers, so this would be something that will really help to strengthen her little legs and allow her to have fun!
My brother Stuart plans on doing a number of events to raise some money to go towards this much needed item for Connie.

London Olympic distance triathlon - August 2015
New Forest half marathon - September 2015
Mudrunner - October 2015
Southampton Half marathon - April 2016
Awaiting confirmation of a place in the London marathon 2016

Should we we be lucky enough to raise more than the target, we do have plans to make in indoor sensory room for the children to help them with their special needs.
