Molly's Tanzania Volunteer Fund!

My name is Molly and I'm a freshman attending college at Linn Benton.  I was accepted into a program through IVHQ (International Volunteer HQ) and am working to save up the money I need in order to go.  I love to work with children, so working with orphans in Tanzania would be life changing.  Due to the high rate of HIV/AIDS and limited resources in African countries, there is a large number of orphaned children.  I want to become immersed in their culture during my stay and to be able to take irreplacable learning experiences home with me.  While in Tanzania, volunteer tasks include teaching, cooking and cleaning, farm work, caring for children and babies, and assisting with feeding programs.

I have always had a desire to travel, along with a desire to volunteer. One of my dreams is to volunteer in a third world country and I am finally taking charge to make it happen.  I am a working student and anything helps!
