D & C Police cycle cameras

West Midlands Traffic Police launched a police operation targeting drivers that give cyclists close passes back in 2016. You can read full details about that campaign here: https://trafficwmp.wordpress.com/2016/09/09/junction-malfunction-and-a-new-dawn/

Since then, the world has moved on, and other forces are looking into delivering the same campaign. 

Devon and Cornwall Police look set to start delivering this campaign late May or early June 2017 (the date hasn't been set yet, and is dependent on a lot of things, including this fundraising campaign).

This campaign is to purchase two cameras: a GoPro Hero, and a Fly 6 rear camera. Any surplus funds will be used to purchase a better model GoPro camera, and once that's done, if there is still a surplus, it will be donated to the Cyclists' Defend Fund (http://www.cyclistsdefencefund.org.uk/)
