You may not know this, but Skid Row in Downtown Los Angeles has a mascot, Skiddy Cat! With the help of Skiddy Cat, Union Rescue Mission, incredible volunteers, and you, our City's homeless children won't miss their Birthdays. Union Rescue Mission is the only mission in Skid Row that can accommodate children. The Mission serves children who have often experienced homelessness, hunger and trauma. Skiddy Cat knows how important it is to normalize their environment. She feels that every child is worthy of love and no child should miss their Birthday.
