Johns horrific journey home

This is a very touching story of a woman I know, please read and give what you can to support the family, every little counts, my friend got an e-mail from vietnam, where her father was teaching, saying she needed to get out there as her father was dying, after receiving this e-mail both her n her partner borrowed money to fly out there as she didn't want her father dying out there alone, however nothing could prepare her for what she would see next ! Once over in vietnam they went straight to the hospital were her dad had laid for 10 days with no food or water, his leg bandaged up he looked very poorly, amongst her dad were people all over the floors and 4 people to a bed including children, there is no proper medical care over there, these people/children were left here to die, both stacey and her partner knew they couldn't keep him in there no one even spoke any English or even knew who he was ! They got a wheel chair and took him to a local hotel and started to prepare what would come next, they rehydrated him, washed him and put him in some proper clothes, then set about getting flights booked, they knew how risky the flight was as he was dying, but couldn't ask anyone for help as there was no one, as her dad couldn't walk they got him a wheelchair and Staceys partner carried him as and when needed, the airlines refused to let him fly as they said he looked "dead" but they couldn't take no for an answer or he would die ! Stacey and her partner told the airlines he was disabled and had been for years and that's why he was the way he was, even got around the doctors, it was a very scary flight, stacey just watching his chest raise in and out so she knew he was still alive, fighting back all the tears and emotions and wi the help of her fantastic partner they got him back to England, straight to hospital, once there the doctors rushed about and told her he was in a very bad way as the infection is his leg was shutting down all his vital organs, they had to operate there and then, stacey had to sign the forms knowing he only had 50% chance of survival, the wait whilst he was in theatre was horrendous ! But he made it he is still very poorly in hospital. But starting to respond to things, yes he lost his leg,but it saved him his life.At this time the family need support he will now be staying in England but has literally nothing,The family have had to borrow 4000 to get him home.Stacey has young children am this is a massive financial burden on them all. They need to learn how to live again and rebuild a life together, anything that can be spared no matter how  small it would be so appreciated. This is such a fantastic cause, thankyou for reading and thanks in advance for the support
