Curia's Return to Florida

Our family has been through quite a few hardships recently. I (Bethany) will be losing my second job within a year, and Kyle has struggled to break out of the retail world and into his chosen career (current goal: teacher). With 2 children depending on us, we believe that moving to Florida will help us to better provide for them AND secure better jobs. However, we currently lack the finances to make this move on our own. We are hoping that some of our friends and family will be willing to contribute to this cause of reuniting with our friends and family in Florida. Once there, we know we have an outstanding, supportive community to help us get back on our feet. Money from this fundraiser will go towards the following: (1) Paying for U-Haul (approximately $1900), (2) Paying gas/hotel/food during drive across country (approx. $500), (3) Tow hitch for Kyle's truck (for the U-Haul) (approx. $200), (4) 1-2 months of storage while we arrange an apartment (any money leftover), (5) Deposits for apartment so we have a roof over our heads ($600-$700 for the complex we are considering). 

I have NEVER fundraised for something like this before. The Curia family is living under the tightest budget ever leading up to this move (lots of ramen and pasta, y'all), and hoping to save up 1-2 months of rent and contribute to this, and possibly pay to have someone join us on the drive (more drivers = less days we have to be on the road). 

In 2014, the Curia family left Florida, believing California would be a better job market. In this time, Kyle completed his Bachelors degree in History, and got 3 1/2 retail management experience. I (Bethany) have been studying hard for the actuarial entrance exams, and we're both hunting for jobs in our fields. 

We plan on moving to the Ormond Beach area, and finding a community with good schools for Abigail, and being able to have more family to support us in raising Abigail and Oliver.
