Children’s Theater Project (CTP) was created in 2002 in Rockford, Illinois by a group of devoted artists who recognized the need to promote youth exposure to, and involvement in the Performing Arts. The focus has been on children ages 5 to 18. Children’s Theater Project creates a “play with music” based on works of Broadway musicals adapted for children, TV musicals and shows.
These projects allow children to learn and experience the art of improvisation, pantomime, dramatic arts, script writing, singing, and dancing. It is the goal of this project to educate the participants in all aspects of a musical production.
Children's Theater Project is looking for a permanent home to expand the program. It is our dream to own a theater where our actors can grow and explore the arts under our own roof. Your donation will bring our dream closer to a reality.
Children's Theater Project is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, which makes your donation tax deductable!
