Burkina Faso Volunteer Project

Hello to all, and thanks for taking the time to read this. I’ve been invited to volunteer with the Association Fitil (www.fitil.org) in Burkina Faso, from October 2018 through January, 2019.
In the villages of Kordie, where FITL is based, and nearby Samba, the schools and library need help teaching students French literacy, as even though the curriculums are taught in French here, kids speak their dialects at home. Students are very interested in learning English as well, and generally most information and knowledge piques their intellectual curiosity!
I will strive to make a meaningful impact for good with all of the children whom I’ll meet and help there.                                                        
I'll be extremely  grateful for your support, as this is a project that I've wanted to participate in for a few years, and in light of my son Noah’s recent passing, I’m determined to do so, as he really wanted me to volunteer there.

Help with my expenses, which include purchasing airline, train and bus tickets, pocket money for food and miscellaneous items,  and in particular, school supplies, will be greatly appreciated!
